I had the idea of creating this brand when my son Romeo was born. That was when I found that none of the alternatives to strollers were exactly practical. The choice was limited to bulky baby carriers and slings over 5m long that I just got tangled up in… Living on the 3rd floor without a lift, that soon needed to accommodate 2 young children, I dreamed of a more practical solution than what existed then.
My second pregnancy was the trigger to develop this concept of two bands that slip either side of the shoulders, without knots or straps, and containing no chemicals, as a solution that combined comfort and safety for our babies.Mine first, then gradually the children of thousands of mothers... Since then, I have been trained in physiological carrying to best develop our range, always with the single goal of making life easier for you and us.

Studio Romeo was founded in May 2015.
It is part of an eco-friendly approach that remains in tune with the times, featuring a collection of baby carriers suitable for everyday use. The REBORN programme gives baby carriers which are no longer used a second life in a sustainable and united approach.
Building on the success of its permanent collection, over the seasons Studio Romeo releases limited editions and collaborates with many brands (Bonton, Le Petit Lucas du Tertre, Emoi Emoi, Tartine et Chocolat, etc.).
Much more than just a trend, carrying your baby is an absolute necessity, and we're presenting an alternative to the standard solutions. More than just a brand, Studio Romeo is a whole world where motherhood is the best source of inspiration.
Studio Romeo products are designed in Annecy, France, and then manufactured in a specialised clothing workshop in Portugal.
All Studio Romeo baby carriers are made from 100% organic cotton, with natural fibres derived from pesticide-free organic farming. Because babies' skin is ultra-sensitive, they all comply with the Oeko-Tex 100 label requirements for chemicals. The dyes used are natural and use water-based, non-toxic pigments.
Our products comply with standards (NF EN and US ASTM) safety requirements and are designed to respect the child's psychomotor development. Physiologically, they are also approved by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
