ARTICLE 3 – CONSUMER INFORMATION
In line with Articles L 111-1 and L 113-3 of the French Consumer Code, the key features and prices of our products sold electronically are available on www.studio-romeo.com.
Moreover, the client receives the information provided for in Articles L 121-18 and L 121-19 of the French Consumer Code before and after a sale is concluded, including through these terms and conditions of sale, which they declare they have read before confirming their order, and which can be accessed on www.studio-romeo.com.
Photos of items on sale on www.studio-romeo.com are for information purposes only and may vary slightly from the actual items.
ARTICLE 4 – PRICING AND CONDITIONS FOR VALIDITY
The prices of products sold on www.studio-romeo.com are given per item and include all taxes, but exclude delivery. When an order is confirmed, the price for the client to pay is the "all-inclusive" price (the total cost of the items including taxes, plus relevant delivery costs). The client must cover any telecommunications costs incurred for them to access the website.
Products on sale on www.studio-romeo.com are available while stocks last. If any items become unavailable, the client will be notified by email as soon as possible. The client can then decide whether to continue with the rest of their order, or cancel the entire order. If the client's payment card has already been debited, the relevant refund will be credited back to it within 30 days.
Sale prices are valid on a selection of items indicated on the online store while stocks last.
ARTICLE 5 – STEPS TO CONCLUDE A SALE
The client must abide by these contractual terms in line with Article 1316-1 of the French Civil Code when completing the form to open an account, sharing their personal data, card number and related confidential data, and confirming orders.
Studio Romeo may refuse to fulfil any order that seems unusual or wrongful.
ARTICLE 6 – SECURE PAYMENT
Products must be paid for by bank card (Eurocard, Visa, Carte Bleue, Mastercard) or PayPal.
For card payments, PayPal is the only entity to receive the client's bank details, which it does in its secure area. This information is not routed through www.studio-romeo.com.
PayPal allows you to pay online without sharing your financial details during the transaction.
In line with the provisions of Article 132-2 of the French Monetary and Financial Code, the obligation to pay by means of a payment card is binding. By sharing their card number and the aforementioned information, the client authorises Studio Romeo to debit their card by the total cost of their order including taxes and delivery costs.
To this end, the client confirms that they own the bank card to be debited, and that the name on the card is theirs; then shares the 16-digit number and expiry date on the front, and, where applicable, the security code on the back. This sharing takes place in a secure environment on our payment partner website (PayPal).
To give online card payments an extra level of security, they will be subject to 3D Secure verification.
This scheme aims to combat fraud by asking users who want to pay a seller online to identify themselves when a card payment is made.
During the transaction, the cardholder is directed to a web page provided by their bank and has to enter verification details.
This security check will have the "Verified by VISA" or "Mastercard SecureCode" logo.
ARTICLE 7 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Orders placed on www.studio-romeo.com are prepared within 48 to 72 hours.
When an order is shipped, the client is emailed a Colissimo or TNT tracking number.
Studio Romeo cannot be held responsible for any losses or delays to delivery caused by errors or disruption by La Poste.
If the client has made an error in the delivery address, Studio Romeo cannot be held responsible for any delays or non-delivery of products ordered. The client must also cover any costs incurred to reship the products.
Orders delivered outside France may be subject to taxes and customs duties at the destination. These taxes and customs duties associated with product delivery are the responsibility of, and paid for by, the client.
Deliveries are deemed to be complete when the product is made available to the client by the courier, as proven by the tracking system mentioned on the La Poste website.
If a client has still not had any news about their order 5 working days after a parcel ships, they should contact the La Poste location nearest the delivery address. If neither the La Poste location nor the online delivery tracking system (on the Colissimo website or other sites mentioned above) have a record of the parcel, the client should contact Studio Romeo Customer Services, who will launch an enquiry with La Poste. La Poste response times vary from 1 to 3 weeks.
In situations of force majeure, Studio Romeo is not obliged to deliver. These include war, riots, fire, flooding, strikes, accidents, supply breakdowns, etc.
In any case, our products can only be delivered on time if our buyers are up-to-date with their obligations towards us.
The client is responsible for checking parcels when they arrive and expressing any reservations or complaints that appear justified, or even rejecting a parcel if it seems to have been opened or has obvious signs of damage. These reservations and complaints should be sent to the courier by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 3 working days of delivery, not including bank holidays. A copy should also be immediately sent to Studio Romeo. If this timeline is not followed for a complaint, no action can be taken against the courier, in line with the provisions of Article L 133-3 of the French Commercial Code.
The client should ensure that they have received the correct items in their order. If any items are incorrect or of deficient quality compared with the specifications on the delivery note, the client should email Studio Romeo Customer Services (hello@studio-romeo.com) and return items to the address given in Article 8, making sure the relevant conditions are fulfilled.
ARTICLE 8 – RETURNS POLICY
In line with Articles L 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the client has a 14-day cooling-off period after a delivery to return items ordered without having to justify their decision or pay any penalties. Therefore, within this 14-day legal period, the initial delivery costs will be refunded if the client returns their entire order. If a client only returns part of their order, they will remain responsible for the initial delivery costs.
Return shipping costs are paid by the client.
Items must always be returned in their original packaging, complete, with labels attached, new, not worn, not washed, and accompanied by the delivery slip to the following address: XXX.
No refunds will be issued for any returned items that do not fulfil these conditions (in their original packaging, complete, with labels attached, new, not worn, not washed), or that have been damaged or dirtied by the client.
The client is responsible for any risk incurred returning items. They are strongly advised to send their parcel using a method that provides proof of postage and a guaranteed delivery date (acknowledgement of receipt, Colissimo tracking, etc. recommended). If not, Studio Romeo will not be able to process the return.
Once the goods have been received, checked and accepted by our team, Studio Romeo will refund the client for the cost of products returned within 14 days of receipt.
For any other information, complaint or question regarding Studio Romeo's distance selling terms, clients should contact Customer Services by email (hello@studio-romeo.com) with the order reference and date.
