KANGAROO CARE IS A METHOD OF HOLDING A BABY THAT INVOLVES SKIN-TO-SKIN CONTACT. THIS METHOD CONTRIBUTES TO THE GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF PREMATURE BABIES AND FULL-TERM NEWBORNS UP TO THEIR THIRD MONTHS.
1• Wrap the band around your waist with the Velcro panels secured on your backside.
2 • Place your baby in an upright position, chest to chest.
3 • Gently stretch and pull up the band so it hugs baby’s bottom and torso.
This band must not be used as a baby carrier. Always be alert and aware and never leave baby unattended.

- Nose and mouth are uncovered and unobstructed • Our baby’s head is not chin to chest and baby’s neck is straight. Always ensure the airways are clear,
- Shoulders should be against you and baby should be chest to chest
